Friday Fun

The kids had a great week!  We have been learning about the election process to tie in our unit on Government to current events.  The students have been making campaign posters to campaign for 3 different books we have read in class.  They also created their own voter registration cards which they will use in our election on Tuesday.  On Tuesday, they will cast their vote in our very own voting booth and then we will graph the results to discover our winner.  We are very excited to see which book will win!

The Halloween party was a great success.  Many thanks to all the parents who volunteered, donated goodies, helped your child get ready, or who attended the parade.  We had such a great time!  Here are some pictures from the party!

Decorating buckets!

Happy Halloween!

Busy at work decorating!

All smiles in our costumes!

Looking spooky!

Trick or Treat!

The headless skeleton!  Who's hiding in there?

Getting mummified :)

Going right for the face ;)

The zombie is wrapping up a friend

Oh my! She's all wrapped up!

They captured me!

Looking good!

She's so wrapped she can't move her arms!

Looking very happy to be a mummy!

Who's hiding under all that toliet paper?

Thumbs up to being a mummy!

And now he's covered... head to toe (literally!)

Look at all these mummies and mummy makers!

Have a great weekend!
