End of Second Quarter

Well, we danced our way out of second quarter.. literally!  The students had a great time at our dance party.  We did the hokey pokey, cha-cha slide, chicken dance and played a few rounds of freeze dance!  We definitely got a workout in!

Just a few quick reminders.....

• We have a math quiz on Monday.  I sent the students home with an optional study guide to help them get ready for the quiz and test.
• Today marked the end of second quarter, which means report cards will go home next Friday.
• Keep bringing in those marshmallows for our reading incentive program!  Remember, you can bring in one per day, except for weekends!
• Our spelling words are getting more challenging, so please make sure you are practicing them EVERY night!  We work on them in school, but when the words are reinforced at home, the students will retain them better and be able to spell them in their written work as well.
