Animal Reports



Hi First Grade Families!

Today your child brought home an animal book with a yellow packet inside of it.  This is for their animal reports that will be on display in the library for our Celebration of Learning event in April.  Please make sure to follow the instructions carefully and use the template provided.  The students have about 2 weeks to do the research and complete the written portion.  The rest of the project will be completed in class or in library.  The students will be typing their completed reports, so please make sure they are in by the due date of March 11.  The students may turn them in whenever they complete the work as long as it's on or before March 11.  If they are late, they will not be able to attend our special animal presentation in April.  Also, you may keep the library book they are using for the report until you are finished with it.  You do not need to turn that book in next Tuesday (unless you are done with the report).  Feel free to use other sources to find more information.

Have fun with it!  They turn out really cool when they are completed!
