Happy Valentine's Day!!!
I hope you all had an amazing, love-filled day! I know I did! I had 22 very special valentines today! I'm the luckiest girl in the world!
We had a super fun day today. The students started off the day by using different writing prompts to talk about when they felt loved or how they would define love. They turned out very cute and I can't wait to create a class book of all their different pages!
After that, we did a making words activity to see how many different words we could find in the words "Happy Valentine's Day". We actually found quite a few!
In the afternoon, we estimated, sorted, graphed, and tallied Sweet Tart conversation hearts. After we recorded all the data, we were able to eat our treats! Yummy! We also created different patterns with the conversation hearts and recorded them on to a separate page.
FINALLY, we got to pass out our valentines to all of our friends! It was so much fun!
After all that, we watched a Valentine movie and got ready to go home!
Again, I hope you all are having a great Valentine's Day! I am sending lots of love to you and your families! Thank you for all the generous and cute valentines! I can't wait to share my treats with my friends and family!
<3, Ms. Petrucci
