Clip It Chart and Behavior Recording Sheet

Good morning!

I just wanted to send a quick note regarding the behavior system I have set in place.  The note I sent home was pretty lengthy, so I wanted to touch on a few key points.

1. The students will record their behavior every day on the half sheet that was sent home in their take home folders.
2. That note needs to be checked every day and also signed/initialed every day.  This is to ensure you all are aware of your child's behavior throughout the day.
3. If the circle is any color besides green and is a negative behavior, there will be a comment under the circle explaining the behavior.  If the behavior is severe, there will be an email or phone call accompanying that comment.
4. If the circle is any color besides green and is a positive behavior, a certificate will go home with your child explaining the behavior.
5. Please make sure that half sheet of paper returns to your child's folder every day so it ca be checked at school.  Students will turn in the signed half sheet every Monday (or the first day of the school week).  If you need to staple/tape the sheet inside the folder to ensure it's safety, that is fine with me!

Thanks for your help in maintaining GREAT communication between home and school.  Also, if you haven't sent your child to school with a framed family photo, please do so.  If you don't have a frame, just send in a photo.  I do have a place to put unframed photos just in case.
