Happy Tuesday!

I hope you all enjoyed the 3 day weekend!  I sure appreciated the extra day... even if it was ABSOLUTELY freezing outside!  Brrrr!  I hope you all are staying as warm as possible!

Just a few reminders...

• Signed report card envelopes are due back to school ASAP.
• Library books were due today, so if your child forgot them at home, please make sure they have them in their backpacks tomorrow.
• We are starting to collect box tops, Campbell's labels, and Tyson A+ points.  We are having a school wide contest and we want to win!  You will be receiving a note about this later in the week, but if you've been saving them, your child can start bringing them in to school.  Thanks!
• Also, I will be sending home a "supplies needed" note home with your child if they are missing any supplies or have run out of their extra stock in their locker.  This will hopefully be going home this week or next week.
• We are starting subtraction mad minutes this week! Your child will now be doing 2 mad minutes per week.  One in addition and one in subtraction.  We are also starting to do 2 dictation sentences on the back of our spelling tests.

Please make sure you practice the spelling words with your child EVERY night! The words are getting harder and if they all get a 10/10 on their weekly words, they will get to do a desk switcheroo and sit by a friend! Please help us to reach our goal! We were SOOOO close last week!
